Waving

The other day while driving there was a biker guy on his motorcycle in front of me. And I always forgot until it would happen that bikers do that little 'wave' thing to each other in passing. So, again, I didn't think about it until I saw it the other day. Instantly, I smiled and began to laugh.

I LOVE it when bikers do that 'head nod' or 'wave' to each other. I used to ask my dad when I was little and he took me on rides, "Oh, do you know him?" and he'd say, "No, that's just what you do." "But why? If you don't know them, why?" I wondered.

BUT ANYWAYS, then I started to think about how cool and funny it would be if I just started waving to other people that drive the same car as me. Do you think they'd get it? I think it'd be so much fun!!!

It might work... depending on what car you drive. If you have something with character (VW, Saturn, Mini, etc.) it might work well. But if you drive just another minivan or beat up Volvo or Toyota, it could cause more confusion than hilarity.

A friend of mine recently took me for a ride in his pop's classic convertible.
When I got in, he instructed me: When people wave at you, youneed to wave back.
And LOTS of people waved! We were like a rolling celebrity in the cool ass car.

I had to delve deeper in to the Josie Moran thing - it's Josie Bisset that was on melrose. Josie Moran has been in some movies that I've never heard of and she's been like a covergirl cosmetics model or something like that. I think I remember seeing her on an issue of Seventeen Magazine back in the day. She looks really pretty in some pictures and then just average in others.

Oh, and the living room is my living room when I first moved here. I have some colorful pillows on the couches and I made some flowers for the tables. But, the bedroom isn't mine - I found that on the web. It's nice though isn't it??

I swear I had this same conversation with my daughter!

My dad has a Harley and I used to date a guy who had a Harley. I loved when they would wave. When I was on the back of the guys back when we were dating the other women on bikes would be nice to me. It was odd. It was like we all had some sort of secret. My secret was that I was terrified of those big biker women.
