Ugh! Lately, at work, I've just been in the WORST mood. Not even anything in particular is making me this way. I am just feeling easily annoyed. It kind of sucks. My annoying mood is annoying myself!
The office has just been dreadful. In the mornings, the guys are in here and they all just stand there with their thumbs up their asses for way too long. They already know what jobs they are to go on. But no, they feel the need to stand there looking stupid while telling stupid stories. These stories include talking shit on each other, talking shit on other people (customers, family, significant others, etc.), AND talking about their lack of money. That's a popular subject.
I mean, everyone talks about that once in awhile, but these guys...geez...it's always the same thing.
In case any of you don't know, I help my dad run his plumbing and heating business. So, the kind of guy that works here is typically lazy and an alcoholic. OH, AND looks ruggedly about 10 years older than how old they really are. And just about every one of them has had AT LEAST one DUI. All they do is complain, yet have NO ambition what-so-ever. Granted, I do like (most of) them, a few of them I have known since I was a little girl. But, they spend all of their money payday weekend on booze.
I spend a lot of money on booze...but I make sure my bills get paid first.
They spend their money buying little lottery tickets while drunk on booze hoping they'll win the money to pay their bills.
One guy here STILL lives at home. He is almost 40. Don't think he's ever dated anyone in the 8 years he's worked here.
Sometimes I just really feel like ranting about them, though. So today is that day.
Another thing that has really been bugging me: the EFFING PHONE.
Here are things I do when the phone rings:
cringe
sigh very loudly
Grrr like a monster
look up at the ceiling quietly and pathetically
I always look at the caller ID:
Half the time it is an 800 number or a number from a totally different area code.
So, I don't answer those most of the time. They are just salespeople that annoy me even more than I'm already annoyed.
When I am not thinking about stabbing my eyes out from the phone ringing, I am screaming out obscenities because the 2 way radio WON'T STOP beeping. I even have nightmares about it. I'm pretty sure that NOTHING at work bugs me more than the stupid 2 way.
Okay, I'm done. Thanks.
Can you tell I need a mini vacay?! ;)

Disturbia
I'm sure I'm not the first one or the only one to wonder about Rihanna's song "Disturbia."

What exactly is she talking about in that song, anyways? But, more importantly, does it have anything to do with her past rumored fling (and my long-time crush) Shia LeBeouf?

Remember, he was in the movie Disturbia (which I really liked).

Mischief
Earlier today I thought of a silly little prank to play on my mom. Don't ask me HOW I came up with it. I'm quite creatively weird.
Anyways, sometimes on my lunch I go up there where her and my stepdad live.
On the kitchen counter there's a notepad -- usually my mom writes down stuff she needs from the store on it.
So I thought, what if I write really creepy (like with my left hand (I'm a righty)) on the top paper, "help."
That's it...just "help."
I don't know why I think it's so funny. I thought about just writing, "Hi!" or something, and then when my mom asked me about it, just pretend I don't know what she's talking about. But, then I thought it'd be even funnier if I just wrote "help" and creeped her out! hahahahahahaha
Eh?

Spelling
I hate when people spell 'hot', 'HOTT'.
Hate it.
Eww.
And it's always spelled in all caps, too. Ick!

I Love Reading
Lately, I've been carving out more time to read. I've always enjoyed it, but it's just so hard to keep at it. I guess I kind of go through little spurts. I always have magazines, but that's different. When I get into a book, I look forward to the next chance I have to read more.

There's 2 books that I've recently finished. The first is "Anybody Out There?" by Marian Keyes.
I really enjoyed this book, and it was hard to put it down. There's a lot of things in the overall plot to keep your mind's interest, and I found myself really wanting the main character to get what she needed. It reminded me a little bit of "P.S. I Love You" too.

After that, I read Alice Sebold's "Lucky". A few years ago, I read "The Lovely Bones" and enjoyed it. I'd heard about "Lucky" and how it was the author's true encounter with rape. I think not only was the book great to read, but it also makes you realize that Sebold has come a long way in writing about it. I'm sure that a lot of the reason for her writing it was to help her recover. It took a ton of courage, but she's a very big inspiration to many because of it.

Has anyone seen this cover for the book? I haven't, until today online. I like both covers, even though both of them have an entirely different feel to them.

My next pick is going to be Augusten Burroughs "Magical Thinking: True Stories". Anyone read it, or have any more recommendations?

9021-Oh, My, Who is THAT?
Did anyone catch the new 90210 show on the CW either Tuesday night or last night? I watched it on Tuesday night from 8:00 to 10:00.At first, I thought, "Well, I'm home, nothing else is on, yeah I'll watch it."
Shoulda known I'd get sucked in!
Annie (Shanae Grimes) and Dixon Mason (Tristan Wilds) are the two characters that move to Beverly Hills with their parents in order to look after grandma. Shanae is just naturally beautiful, and her character Annie is adorable.

Then there's Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) who plays the gorgeous but bitchy most popular girl in school. She'll be the one that everyone loves to hate. I don't hate her yet, but we'll see what happens. She is pretty, though.
I'm not quite sure why, but I think Jessica Stroup is my favorite on the show. She plays Silver, who is a seemingly cold-hearted bitch unless she chooses to like you and want to be your friend. Jessica was also on the CW show Reaper.

Here's a picture from Nylon Magazine of all three girls.
So, I'm watching the show Tuesday night, and all of a sudden Adam Gregory is on the screen. I didn't know yet that his name is Adam Gregory, and his character on the show is Ty Collins. But, he is HOT. Unbelievably HOT. I couldn't take my eyes off the TV when he was on it. And let me tell you, it was NOT easy one bit to get these little tiny pictures to show you.

The only ones I could find of him were on IMDB, and you can't save the bigger images where you can actually SEE them, only the little dinky thumbnails you are able to save. Click here to go the site where you can actually see them better for yourself. He is just beautiful. *sigh*
