Rewind

Yesterday I was thinking, "How cool would it be to have the ability to rewind to another part of your life, just to see it over again?"

What made me think of this is quite interesting (and coincidental).

A few years ago my friend H dated a guy J. They lived together for awhile, but it ended up not working out. They are still friends, though.
H has told me stuff about J and she claims that I'd met him once, but I don't remember.

This is where things get crazy, so try to stay with me: it'll all piece together in the end, I swear.

In a previous post I talked about my friends that were going to Florida and how sad I was. Well, one of the last nights that I hung out with one of them, I lent him money. He was leaving the next morning, said he'd drop the money off at my house before he leaves. I end up calling him around noon and he says he was running late, but he gave my money to this guy J. I'd only met J maybe twice. I was at his apartment once with the guys hanging out. He gave me J's number, and told me to call him and meet up to get my money. Weird, I know, but that's my friends for ya.

Then, H and I were at lunch the other day and she brought up something about her J. He works at the same place as one of my exes, and apparently the ex and his new g/f go hang out at J's with him and his g/f.

Then, H tells me that J told her I was over his apartment hanging out for a while one day. He knew that H and I were friends from her mentioning me. He said he thought I knew who he was, but maybe not.

My mouth dropped. Okay, so this J that I met through my guy friends is H's ex! AND, he hangs out with my ex! Small, small world.

That's why I wish I could rewind back to when H says I supposedly met this J. Then I would be like, "Ohhhhh yeahhhh, NOW I remember." hahaha
